And thats what we did. Yesterday I went with a schoolmate and his buddy to a race invorher.JPG Geislingen. It was a sweet track and we had fun. The distance was exactly 10 km and it took me about 47 minutes. My personal goal was to stay under 50 minutes and so I’m quite happy about the result even though I’m finished as 124th person of 289 people. The track went six times through the city centre of Geislingen. I started way to fast in my first two rounds, so it took a lot of discipline to keep runnig in roundnachher.JPG three and four. I saved some energy for my last two rounds what made it possible to to be real quick on the last 400 meters. It was a great experience and gaves me motivation for the preporation for the the half marathon (21 km) in the end of July. Whenever I go for a run it makes me think about Paul in 2. Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Today I joined a little concert in our kitchen. I had some fries after a hard day in school and while I was sitting and had something to eat Steve played a little song for me. Steve brought a song back into my mind that I almost forgot. It was “In Christ Alone”. I hope I will never forget the words of this song anymore that are so strong. Four verses including everything that I have to know for my life. Here are the lyrics for you.

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I standkreuz.jpg

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand
Later this day we will go to Stuttgart and enjoy the evening there.
Oh, one more thing. Yesterday we tried to call some of you guys, but we could’t reach anyone. Where are you all around five. Well, whatever. Heaps of love from Germany.

Hi capernwray companions, this is my first try to give you a little update to my life. Since ISteve at the Burger King.JPG am not very good in writing e-mails frequently I thought that might be a good way to share some storys. Steve just arrived yestersday from Norway and I am really stoked about having him here. I couldn’t give him any time to rest because Stevo.JPGwe went on a great concert (at least for me). We were also talking about tons of things and it’s so good to listen to what he has to say. Today we went to a castle near to where I live. We made some sweet pictures there. I am excited for what tomorrow brings. Now it’s time to go to bed for me. I write some more stuff later.Great view on a old church.JPG
